Steak in Sack and the Onion Rings OMG!! Burgers and Fries, Whatever, you order it is going to be made fresh, fast, and fantastic.

Great sandwich/hoagie choices, as well as other items. Awesome fries and onion rings. The staff is friendly. I have been eating here for years, which is the best recommendation that I can give.

I have ate at Ankars Hixson for I know at least 10 years. The service is Great, the food is Amazing. You can not go wrong with the Hamburger Steak dinner or the Steak Sub. THANKS ANKARS Hixson for still servicing your customers during the pandemic!

Decent fast food for dine in and Cary out. A local family owned chain. Not amazing, but better than most fast food.

Ordered takeout through Dinner Delivered. Food arrived with no sauces. How does a restaurant send mozzarella sticks and fried mushrooms without any sauces? Very disappointed.

This disappoints me to give this rating. I have been eating at Ankars for over 20 years and I have NEVER had such terrible service or food. I waited in the drive thru for over 30 minutes with only 2 car ahead of me. I get no apology for my wait. I get home with my food(not even 5 minutes away) and I have burnt onion rings, fries that tasted like they were heated in a microwave and 2 cold soggy sandwiches. I am so disappointed to say that I will not be returning to this Ankars anymore.

I can always count on quality and good service when I go to any of the ankars locations. I highly recommend the club rider with the homemade onion rings!

Ankar’s has always been a favorite of ours, but I’ve never taken the time for a review. After exceptionally great service today, I had to write one! The food is ALWAYS amazing — even for vegetarians. Some favorites are the steak and provolone, cheeseburger, black bean burger, fries and onion rings! (They also have THE BEST ranch and sweet tea). I usually call ahead if I have a big order because everything is made fresh so it takes a minute, but so worth it. Tonight I called in a large order for our entire family and said I would be there in 15 minutes. I arrived a little earlier than that so I went in and paid as they were finishing my order. While in there, I watched one of the women in the back (who i believe is a manager) triple check my order along with 2 employees. She also helped them stack accordingly, so nothing was squished or spilled. The employee even took the time to go over that with me when handing me the food. Bravo guys!! 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

A great local establishment with a lot of history in the area. Get the steak sandwich and onion rings with either Swiss cheese or provolone. You won't be upset you did.

My Ruben was cold in the middle. It's worth the wait to get it right guys! The drive-thru stays packed and backed up because of the love for the food here guys. Slow down a little and keep on keepin on because the food is great and the simple truth is I'll still be eating a car subs next week love you mean it

I've never ate at ankers before. Sunday my friend took me to lunch there. I ordered a chicken rider or whatever you call it. I came home and threw up everywhere!!!! Worst pain I've ever felt in my life. As soon as I was finished vomiting, I felt completely better. Be careful eating from here.

It's not the Acropolis, but it's a great place to buy a gyro, and I highly recommend the onion rings. For the Greek salad, I prefer the Hixson location over the Highway 58 place, but I am a regular at both. Long may they serve Chattanooga!

Great food and nice people. The best cheese sticks and falafels! Try the cheese hoagie toasted. Good sized portions. A great lunch or dinner for a reasonable price.

Food usually good but waited so long in drive thru that I fell asleep. Luckily Good Samaritan woke me up which was only slightly embarrassing.

The wait here is worth it. But it's not a long wait. Food always hot and ready. Everything I done ate here has been good. They have very friendly staff.
